Valentine's Day

This was the second Valentine's Day that I spent with the love of my life. The Valentine's Days before I met him were always less than perfect. Nothing exciting happened...I got cards from my family and usually hung out with one of my girlfriends singing INDEPENDENT and acting like I never needed a guy to make me happy.

So much has changed since then. I am so thankful to have a man in my life who appreciates me, understands me, and loves me anyways. Everyday isn't perfect but we make it through my laughing.

I can still make myself happy and I wouldn't say he completes me but I would say we compliment each other. We do not have a perfect relationship but no one else could put up with either one of us. That is why we go well together.

This Valentine's Day I was in the best mood and was one of those sappy girls that I can not stand. Why...because this weekend I spent it with the love of my life. We did not go to a fancy restaurant or get really dressed up for each other...we just cooked at the house and laughed while enjoying each others company. I wouldn't want it any other way.

I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day and took the time to think about the people they love...whether it is a family member, a friend, or a lover....they are all important.

Where would the world be without love.... ?

Sunshine....where are you?

Another day or rainy cold weather. At least I am getting to use my winter coat to the max this winter season.

The past couple of weeks have not been to bad with juggling school and life but it is about to get crazy again. The reading is starting to pile up as we tackle more complex topics and I got my trial brief assignment. I read the assignment last night and started stressing.....

I know I can get through it..just like I did last semester.

God give me strength and help me remember why I want to be a lawyer.

Fellow bloggers (Halei and Megan) stay warm and dry.

Do I live in Seattle...?

The wind was ridiculous this morning in downtown as I walked on the sidewalks. I kept thinking to myself how much I would rather be sweating in the sun than shivering in the rain. I think I have forgotten what it feels like to have the warm sun on my skin. Speaking of sun on my skin I am deathly pale...so pale that you can see my purple veins through my arm. Please spring weather hurry up and get here....

On a side note I have decided that working out is just not worth it. Ever since I started school in the fall I have not had the time to go work out. When I get home I am exhausted and have books starring at me ....."read me read me.." The positive thing about not being in shape is that I don't have a big appetite. Maybe it is because I am not using as much energy therefore I do not need as much food...I really do not know the scientific reason behind it all I know it is nice.

So the past two days I have tried to start working out again and eating more...

That is why I have concluded that I would rather be flabby, pale, and skinny than tan toned and hungry all the damn time.

Cooking for one...

Dirty dishes are sitting in my sink and I am sitting on my couch. Cooking for one is more work than it is worth I have decided. I started cooking my gourmet meal of Hamburger Helper at 7:00 tonight, dirtied one skillet, one pot, and one plate. Maybe ate a third of it. The rest is in my refrigerator along with leftover taco meat, rice, and queso from tacos that I made this past weekend. I am one of those people that can only eat leftovers two days three max. The rest always gets thrown out.

One day I will enjoy cooking...when I have a husband and children.

Don't get me wrong the hamburger helper was delicious and I will eat it for lunch tomorrow and Friday.

Megan I feel ya with the recession...whatever I can do to save money.

You know you are out of shape when....

the lady on the workout video kicks your butt and you end up watching the last fifteen minutes of the workout you are suppose to be doing on the couch petting your cat....
